Two Tips For Golf Putting Improvement

Today I will share with you two more tips for golf putting improvement, these tips should help you become a good putter and shave a number of shots off your game.

The Putt Swing

When you are about to take your putt think about how a pendulum clock swings, this is how your arms should swing which will be controlled by moving your shoulders.

A triangle should be formed by your arms and shoulders and this triangle should stay in tack throughout your whole swing. You can test this by completing your swing in front of a mirror.

Concentrate on hitting the golf ball when your swing is about to come up this will stop the ball from bouncing in the air and coming off the target line.

Never look up too early, keep looking at the ball through your follow-up. Only look up when you have heard the ball drop into the hole.

Practice Your Putting

Putting is a key aspect to any golfers’ game and it still is the one area which most golfers do not practice.

If you want to shoot lower golf scores then get out to the putting green, either before your round or pop down once a week.

Always start with small putts to get your putt swing action correct then move onto the longer putts when you feel warmed up.

A great practice drill is complete some putts with your eyes closed, this can be on the putting green or at home with a mug in place of the hole.
Hit the ball and with your eyes closed and determine in your mind whether you think the shot was short or long. This will help you feel how you are putting.

That's it for the putting tips, I hope the last few days tips will help you to putting success.
