Tips for Golf Putting Training

Today I have the next two tips for putting success, use these when you are completing your golf putting training for maximum success.

Confidence To Complete Putt

Confidence is vital to ensure you hit the putt correctly, make sure you feel confident when you step up to take your putt. If you don’t then step back for a moment so you can regroup.
Keep talking to yourself in a positive manner, forget about any bad shots you have done over the round and think about sinking the putt.

Lining Up And Posture

When you come to address your golf ball remember the initial address is similar to your other golf shots, put your club behind the ball and set up parallel to your target.

Your lower body should not move, so keep your hips still which will ensure your legs and feet do not move. Your arms should hang down very natural with your elbows pointing towards your hips.

For most putts always use your arms and shoulders which will ensure you have a strong putt, never use just your wrists or hands as this will likely cause your ball to stop short of the hole.

Your posture should start by standing tall and then bending from the hips with your front shoulder slightly higher than your back shoulder.
