Quick Golf Tip For Putting Success

Over the next few days I am going to share with you some golf tips for putting success, use all the tips to change you putting from failure to success.

As you probably realise, putting is the key to determine how many shots you will drop in a round so it is vital you learn ways to improve.

This week I will talk about some steps to ensure you visualise a successful golf putt.

When you first step onto the green you need to visualize how the ball is going to travel to the hole. Get a picture in your mind of which direction the ball will travel on the green.

Reading the green is vital so you know where to aim your golf ball, now it can take some practice so don’t worry if you are not successful at first. Keep practicing and you soon will be.

To read the green squat down behind your ball and look for any slopes or contours on the green. Walk from your ball to the hole and visualise the correct line your ball needs to travel down.

A great advantage is when you are not putting first, you can then watch your partners putt and get more of an understanding of how the ball will act on the green.
Still using visualization, try to imagine seeing your ball drop straight into the hole, during this try to determine the correct direction and speed the ball will travel.

Read through this post again until you fully understand how to visualise each of your putts and combined with the next few posts your putting will be the envy of your golf buddies.
