5 Steps To Form The Perfect Golf Grip

Now I have some quick steps to go through whenever you pick up your golf club, this will be come natural after a short while. The steps should be followed whichever type of grip you choose.

Always start with the club head resting on the ground. Then to keep the club upright rest it on the forefinger of your right hand. Making sure your thumb is holding the club in place. Your left hand should be hanging down naturally.

With your left hand open and your palm facing towards the club, move your hand towards the club with the club shaft resting across your palm. Make sure the handle of the club rests diagonally across the middle of your left forefinger.

The fingers of your left hand can close holding the club in place, not your right hand.
Your thumb should lie flat straight down the club handle a little bit to the right of centre.

With the club being held in place by your left hand, your right hand should hang naturally down next to your grip. Bring your right hand forward and lay the club in the fingers of your right hand. Always keep in mind that your palm is set at the same angle of your clubface, so its square to the target. You want to form a trigger like shape with your right thumb and forefinger. The grip can now be completed by adopting the best suited grip for you, using the steps I mentioned earlier to form each grip.

There you have it, follow these steps and soon you will be forming the perfect golf grip and your game will have improved tenfold.
