There are a number of areas you need to keep on training not just to improve but also to keep yourself on top of your game, today i am going to share with you the different places you can train and there benefits.
Driving Range - The driving range is the most common place where golfers train, this is due to a number of things, common in most towns\cities and open to anyone whatever their standard.
At the driving range you can focus on practicing a number of different aspects of your game.
Hitting the golf ball off the tee (with an iron and driver), chipping into a net or to a flag, posture and address to the ball, practicing the swing and finding out your distance with each club.
This is why I recommend if your semi-serious about playing golf that you visit the driving range at least once a week.
Putting Green - an area that is often overlooked is your putting, even though it is these shots that will make or break your round.
Get out to the putting green after you have been to the driving range(if you have time) or go up another day, look to spend at least 15 minutes practicing all lengths of putts starting off with the shorts ones, this will get you into your stride.
The putting training is a must if you want to lower your score.
Chipping\Sand Practice - some golf courses will have an area you can practice your chipping and sand play, this training is still important but not as essential as the driving range and putting green.
Try to practice about once a week, also for a few minutes before your round.
There you go three key skill for training in golf that will help lower your score and develop that swing.
