Your golf swing when using your short, highly lofted clubs needs to be slightly different to ensure your weight is distributed correctly.
Follow these steps to complete the correct swing.
When you are about to start you swing ensure your weight is more to your front leg, make sure you adopt the normal slight bend at the knees. Your weight needs to be kept exactly where it is do not be tempted to move or distribute the weight to your back leg.
Your wrists should stay slightly more firm than when completing your normal swing, to ensure your hands are controlling the shot and leading the clubhead onto the ball.
When you impact the ball it should feel that its compacted between the clubface and the ground, this should help your create the backspin. Using one of your lofted clubs in this way will help the ball stop after its bounced once or twice.
With your lofted clubs always make sure your hands are slightly in front of your clubhead all the way through impact.
