How to Hit A Golf Driver Better

Today I have a very quick post giving you some quick tips on how to hit a golf driver better, this will ensure you hit your shot straight and with maximum distance.

Preparation and Set-up:

Ensure your tee is higher than when using one of your irons, about three quarters of the ball above your club

Line your club squarely onto the ball

As the driver is your longest club, stand further back from the ball

Your feet should be shoulder width apart. The ball should be aligned to your front foot.

Always have the correct posture. Bend from your hips, knees slightly bent, head up and keep your eyes on the ball.

Swing:

Rotate your hips and the start of your backswing

Your front knee should bend to ensure your club stays on the correct swing plane.

At the top of your backswing start to rotate your hips which will initiate your downswing.

Never hit the ball too hard with your driver, this will cause you to lose all accuracy.

Well that's all from me today, have fun on the golf course and here is to you have success with your golf driver.
