Quick Golf Swing Tip

I have a quick golf swing tip for you today and if you follow the guidelines here you will be focusing on your complete swing.

The quick golf swing tip is to break your golf swing down to the three equal parts that your swing consists of, the backswing, downswing and follow-through. Breaking the swing down into the three parts will allow you to get each part mastered.

Backswing
This all begins when you start to address the ball, make sure spine is always straight, always bend from your hips and not your waist and then bend your knees slightly. The outcome will be that your backside is pointing out slightly, like your about to sit on a chair.

A quick drill is to swing the club to waist height only by moving your wrists, not your lower body. Wait a second at waist high then turn your shoulders as you would completing your swing and your hands will reach the top of your backswing. Practice to control that swing.

Downswing
Starting at the very top of your backswing bring the club down to impact the ball, keep you upper-body at the exactly same address position. When you swing comes down to hitting the ball make sure your chin is pointing straight at the ball. The key to hitting the ball correctly is returning to the same position as you were when you addressed the ball.

Follow Through
Keep a consistent swing through to follow-through,make sure you do not slow down your swing or adjust you upper-body when you hit the ball and complete your full swing. The follow-through is just as important as the backswing and downswing so take as much time getting it mastered as the other two parts.
