Free Golf Swing Tip

Here is a quick free golf swing tip which you can try out straight away to improve your golf swing.

You may think you have addressed the golf ball correctly and believe you have a good grip, but this could all go wrong if your swing is bad and by the time you hit the ball your club is all over the place.

So to begin with make sure you are completely relax, every part of your upper body. Also your legs and knees should not be stiff they should feel quite bouncy.

The golf swing motion on both the backswing and downswing is the first part to fix.
During you backswing make sure you start with your hands, its essential to move your hands back first before your shoulders or hips. Following your hands should be your arms and shoulders in one single motion.

The downswing always starts with your hips pushing you through, and then your arms, hands and shoulders follow through. Always ensure your head is completely still with your eyes looking down at the golf ball. I know you’ve probably have heard this so many times before, but how often have you looked up or moved your head on impact on the ball and hitting a hopeless shot. So keep your head still and keep looking down until you complete your swing.

For the right-handed players make sure your right-hand (left hand for left handed players) is completely dormant when completing your golf swing. A lot of newbie golfers use this hand to force the club head when hitting the ball, the plan is to ensure greater impact on the ball for longer shots. This will not work as most times this will result in an out-to-in path for your club head and you will end up hitting a slice. When completing your downswing pull through with your weaker hand instead of your stronger hand, this will visibly produce straighter shots.

Ensure when completing your backswing to keep it at a slow tempo, going too fast on the backswing will normally lose your accuracy by the time you get to your downswing. So slow down your backswing in one consistent motion, you can then release all the speed and energy on your downswing. Doing this will really control your swing providing better accuracy and distance.
